PAPER PRESENTATION

Oral paper presentations will be grouped by strands into 90-minute sessions, either virtual or in-person. Each presenter will have 15 minutes for their presentation, which can include time for audience engagement through peer discussion or reflections. After each presentation, the chairperson will facilitate a 7-10 minute discussion with the audience.

INTERACTIVE POSTER

Participants can engage in informal discussions about their work with other conference attendees. Interactive posters will be organized by strands into 90-minute sessions, either virtual or in-person.

Each session starts with presenters giving a brief (1-minute) introduction of their work. Presenters will then stand by their posters (or join an assigned breakout room for virtual sessions) to answer questions from interested participants. The audience can also provide written feedback on the work presented during the interactive session.

SYMPOSIUM (New Format)

The symposium proposal package includes 3-4 related papers (abstracts) and an introduction from the chair (lead proponent). Each symposium session, whether virtual or in-person, will last 90 minutes. The chair will oversee the brief presentations by the contributors, followed by a reflective and critical summary from an invited discussant (a team member who is not a paper contributor). The chair will then lead a discussion on the focus questions or issues with the audience.

Technical Criteria

  1. Deadline: All abstracts must be submitted electronically by the specified deadlines. The final submission must be received by April 10, 2025.

  2. Submission Portal: Proposals can only be submitted via Google Forms using the appropriate links provided on this page and in social media posts.

  3. Anonymity: Author identities must not be disclosed in the abstract, including mentions of affiliated institutions and self-citations.

  4. Strands: Select one strand that best applies to your work to assist organizers in facilitating expert review and grouping accepted presentations into sessions.
